Filling Up

It’s great to have the moped back again after 6 months without it. It means that I can get into college faster and cheaper than getting the bus, as well as other advantages. The problem however is how little fuel the tank holds (about 4L). Although this lasts a long time with the bike doing about 80 miles to the gallon the one thing that is important to remember is filling up ASAP after switching to reserve. Of course the other day I forgot this, thinking to myself that there would be enough fuel to get me to the petrol station when I next used the bike. Unfortunately there wasn’t, so this evening I had to push the bike from the albert hall to the petrol station on old brompton Rd. Had I just gone there yesterday before getting to college I would have probably just managed it. Hopefully I will remember today when I next switch to reserve, and fill up instantly.

Port and Scaff

So last night was a large port drinking session at mr chaimberlain’s new posh flat. It’s been a while since we had a proper ICPAS evening. The one thing to remember now is that we need to have more of them this term, as there were almost none last term
Then today was the first day of set build for the MTSoc spring show (luckily it wasn’t an early start). With some people starting to construct treads another group of us carried out a practice run of building the back wall, so that we know that we will have all the scaff required. It’s just a shame we can’t leave it up until the show (unfortunately the medics play is in the way).It does feel a little odd satrting now, considering the show isn’t until the 4th March but hopefuly with all the work that we will have done this weekend, and any work we do next weekend, when it comes to setup day the set should go up nice and quickly (leaving more time for lighting focus and plot)
